Skills practice 4: Dark room photography.
The first step was to pick out the photo I wanted to develop and bring it to the dark room with me. Next I had to wait til it was my turn and then explain which was one I wanted. Once we put the film in and adjusted both the focusing knob and height adjusting knobs till it was the right size. I had to do this photo twice cause the first one was too light so we put it on for a second longer. The first was 3 seconds and second was 4 seconds. After the paper was hit with light and some struggle with the lock that holds the paper in place I put into the developer for 1 minute then took it out, then put it in the stop bath for about 20 seconds, and then I put it in the fixer for 2 minutes til the timer went off, and after that i put it into the holding bath for a bit then used a squeigie to get the water out and hung it up.
